Many thanks to all the clients who helped to make our first annual Customer Appreciation & Community Support Day such a success.  I had been stressing earlier in the week that it was going to rain.  As it turns out the sky was blue & the sun was out, but so was the wind.  Next year I'll be sure to send Mother Nature an email for it not to be as windy.  Thank goodness for the rocks in the parking lot or all the plates & napkins would have been floating down Bel Air Rd.  Kip had the grill going.  I voted for the grill to stay at the office instead of going back to his house.  Imagine what Stephanie could grill us up for lunch!  The Incred-A-Shred truck was parked in the front parking lot.  I'm excited to share that we shredded over 1,400 lbs. of paper.  My inner child came out watching the shredding!  While it was a little on the loud side, it was super cool to observe.  The paper was shredded before it entered the truck.  Ryan was greeting policyholders at their cars & helping to unload their boxes.  We didn't set an limit on how many boxes a client could bring.

It was a pleasure to meet so many policyholders face to face.  Some of the people I was able to meet have been policyholders since Kip started the agency (and that is longer than I've had my insurance license).  What was amazing to me was how far some of our clients drove to attend the event.  People came from Bowie, Odenton, and Baltimore City!!  $100 in donations were made to Habitat for Humanity & American Insurance matched that amount.

If you weren't able to join us this year, we are hoping you will be able to next year!
